Early Years Rhyming booklet containing activities to help with early literacy.  (See below for full description.)

  • Description

Taken from EYFS Statutory Framework 2017.

Literacy development involves encouraging children to link sounds and letters and to begin to read and write. Children must be given access to a wide range of reading materials (books, poems, and other written materials) to ignite their interest.

This Early Years Nursery Rhyme and well-known rhyme booklet contains 10 activities.  They have missing words to encourage children to listen to, and become familiar with rhymes and half-rhymes. They can be used to stimulate discussion and enrich vocabulary.
